6th Qatar International Art Festival Features P. Singh’s Artworks Among 350 Global Artists

Doha- The 6th Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF) commenced on 25 November 2024, at the prestigious Katara Cultural Village in Doha, drawing an impressive lineup of global artistic talent. Running until 30 November, this vibrant festival has brought together over 350 artists from 65 countries to showcase a dazzling array of art forms, including painting, sculpture, and live performances. With more than 1,000 pieces of art on display, QIAF 2024 is a testament to the universal power of creativity and cultural exchange.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara Cultural Village Foundation, in collaboration with MAPS International and other cultural institutions. The festival highlights Qatar’s commitment to fostering global artistic dialogue and providing a platform for diverse talent.

Among the notable participants this year is P. Singh, originally from Nepal and currently based in Crawley, United Kingdom. Singh, who balances his career as a Software Engineer at SMBC Bank in London with his passion for painting, is showcasing his vibrant artworks at the festival. Having exhibited his work on numerous occasions in the UK and Nepal, Singh expressed his enthusiasm for participating in QIAF for the second consecutive year.

“This exhibition is amazing, and getting to showcase my artworks in this year’s event has encouraged me even more,” Singh said. “I love the appreciation I have been receiving, and the response has been fantastic.”

The exhibition received high praise from distinguished guests, including His Excellency Neerav Patel, British Ambassador to Qatar, who commended Singh’s artistic contributions. Visitors have shown keen interest in Singh’s work, reflecting the festival’s ability to bring artists and audiences together in meaningful ways.

QIAF 2024 continues to be a significant cultural landmark in Qatar, bridging artists and audiences from around the world while celebrating creativity in all its forms.
