Rapti Society America to Host Musical Evening for Dashain and Tihar Celebrations

Rapti Samaj America, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is organising a special event titled “Vijay Dashami and Tihar Celebration Musical Evening” on Sunday, 27 October, at Roccapulco, 3140 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110. 

Suresh Hamal, the Chairman of Rapti Samaj America, stated that the primary objective of the programme is to preserve, promote, and enrich the religion, culture, traditions, and customs of Nepal, while also fostering Nepali identity. The event aims to strengthen bonds of brotherhood through the exchange of festive greetings and to celebrate the great festivals of Dashain and Tihar in a joyful, musical atmosphere.

The event, given high priority by Rapti Samaj America, is seen as an important occasion for the Nepali community. The organisation hopes to see the participation of other Bay Area organisations, including senior leaders, social figures, and prominent personalities in various professions and businesses. The organisation has extended a cordial invitation to everyone to attend and make the event a success.

Vice President Gobind Chalane has confirmed that preparations for the event are nearly complete. “We are finalising the preparations,” he said. The musical evening will feature performances by renowned artists Pramod Kharel and Anju Pant, as well as local performers.

Rapti Samaj America has called for the support of the entire community to ensure the success of the programme and has extended its best wishes for the upcoming Nepali festivals.
